About the Studio
Balance Studio is owned and operated by Sarah & Josh Christiansen. Sarah has been training in the art of dance for over 25 years. She also taught and continued her dance training at the University of Nebraska at Kearney & Lincoln, studied at the University of Wyoming, and in the Colorado Springs & Denver area. She has attended recent conferences with Yoga Teachers of Colorado and continues her studies in yoga and dance whenever the opportunity arises. She was asked to return to the cheer/dance squad she co-captained to do choreography and training. Sarah has a degree in Arts and Business Administration and also a degree in Sciences & Sociology. Sarah has experience doing rehabilitation and life skills training for victims of traumatic brain injuries as well as teaching yoga & movement at a camp for disabled youth, both located in Metro Denver. She uses fitness, music & movement as a physical and mental rehabilitation tool.
Balance Studio encourages a healthy lifestyle using movement, music and spirit. Sarah’s family’s passion for rock climbing and adventure is also apparent in the unique blends of study Balance Studio provides. Aware of other interests, we strive for appreciation of dance as a lifelong journey. Individuality is encouraged at this dance studio.
